Mike Reed of Bunker Mulligan fame has passed away from a heart attack at the untimely age of 52. I’ve read his blog daily for some time now and although not interested in his passion with golf, I was vitally interested in his wisdom and life’s experiences. He will be missed from the scene and I will miss his comments and emails. Rest in peace, Mike.

    Mike was a truly exceptional person and a good friend. The sad irony of his passing with a heart attack is that he was the first person who phoned me after my heart operation in December and had phoned my wife to cheer her up too.

    I may try and go to his military funeral in San Antonio, a 350 mile drive but worth the effort to honor such a good friend.
