Joy riding again
The young Melbourne teenager who was convicted recently of stealing a tram is now being questioned about the theft of a school bus.
He’s 15 now and in two years will be able to get his licence and won’t have any further need to ‘take‘ public transport.
If he’s not in gaol.
If this particular young adult was a New Zealander then he would have is licence, as the legal age to drive an automobile is 15. This is a brilliant story to tell your mates at the pub in about 10 years time. Only if he learns from his mistake and matures. I know a similar story. In my home town a local 14 year old Maori lad stole a 46 seater bus. Not only did he steal the bus and started up his own bus route. The young lad pickup and droped off young party goers between little T and big T. This particular teenager didn’t learn from his mistake and is currently serving time in jail.
