You caused the problem – you compensate them. A six month cancellation takes them into the wet season so it is effectively a twelve month cancellation.
Get your Green and PETA tossers vote some other way and stop stuffing honest workers around.

I heard the manager of Bullo Station (Sarah Henderson’s daughter, Marlee), saying in an interview with Steve Price that the delay will be more like 18 months before they have an income, with the six month cancellation, then six months of the wet season and no mustering, and another six months before the cash comes in.
What will they pay their debts with? Everything that they use they buy on chit until the sales.
I know someone who has beef cattle up Injune way and when he sells his cattle after he’s paid his debts he has very little cash left over.
You and I think that’s terrible but the current ALP are very good at making knee jerk decisions without reference to any unintended consequences.
“You caused the problem” – depends which problem you’re referring to Kev. If it’s the “problem” that MLA were doing the ostrich whilst inhumane slaughtering practices were being used, that’s not Ludwig’s responsibility.
Seems to me that if the MLA were using the Cockies’ levies for the intended purpose, there would not be a problem to solve. The “tossers” as you call them simply revealed the truth. Are the RSPCA “tossers”? They’ve actually made more of this than PETA who have been fairly quiet on the issue.
Having said that, the Feds might have made a better decision by saying to the MLA “You’ve got three months to fix it and if you don’t all exports will be banned forever” and left it at that.

He could have said..’We’ll help you sort out these practices – they are to far entrenched with the Indonesians for you to handle quickly – it needs diplomatic pressure’
The MLA can only do so much and going by their website they do try. The Indons are the bad guys in this case, not the farmers and their association. Trouble is, the Left wing of the ALP and their associated tossers think all farmers are millionaires and deserve to be brought down a peg or two or at least have their ‘riches’ redistributed to the poor folk.
Myself, I think it’ a lot of nonsense about ‘steak sandwiches’ or ‘randang daing’ on the hoof.
