Who’s running the country?
We are facing a disastrous situation. The Greens, who represent about 13% of the electorate are currently the defacto government. They have one, I’ll repeat that, ONE member in the House of Reps and they are driving the debate.
Same sex marriage, euthanasia and climate change voodoo are not high priorities amongst Australians with the first two not even being on the agenda of the ALP or the Coalition and yet this morning’s papers are all over how the Greens have won “the debate“.
Government of Australia is currently untenable and something needs to be done before we become a Green lead backwater of civilization and industry.
UPDATE: Maybe sanity prevails;
THE Greens’ controversial bill giving the territories the ability to introduce radical social agendas will be stalled in a Senate committee after a revolt by Labor MPs.
Coalition and Labor senators went into furious negotiations overnight in an effort to sidetrack the Greens’ bill after a Labor backlash against the decision for the government to support the bill.
Labor ministers and backbenchers were furious the decision to support the Greens bill was not discussed in cabinet or the ALP caucus and scrambled to head off the bill. It’s a start.
I personally think that the greens are losing ground, the face of Bob Brown on the news is starting to put people off. I am not sure how old he is, but he is starting to look a bit grey. We all attribute this look to AIDS.
Then we look towards the leader who is a redhead, was born in Wales and has admitted that one of her mainstays in her political life was Dr. Jim Cairns, another degenerate that kept an asian lady as his mistress. A man that was heard to say,” If Australia is running out of money, why can’t we just print more”…
As Australia sinks slowly into the Chinese sun, can someone please come up with an appropriate flag.
“can someone please come up with an appropriate flag”

I’m surprised you don’t suggest a white cross (without the figurine) with a four leaf clover at the base with a map of Ireland over the green white and orange. You are a bitter little man Bobby.
So what’s new?
Between 1955 and 1974 the Democratic Labor Party polled sufficiently well, especially in Victoria and Queensland, to exercise disproportionate influence. It directed its supporters to give their second-preferences to Liberal candidates in federal and state polls. This helped to keep the ALP out of office at both federally and in Victoria. Was that untenable?
We don’t elect governments – we elect representatives who form governments.
What is dangerous is any one party having an absolute majority in both houses.
What’s new is we are talking about the Greens here – not a rational party.
The Greens with their watermelon senators due to hold the balance of power soon will simply be a bar to good order.
What is dangerous is the Greens having any power anywhere
One of the sad things is the 1735099 votes that got them into a position of power.
I wonder if Joolyer enjoys being bent over the barrel by someone who prefers blokes.
The independents are trapped, they are gone next election so they have nothing to lose.
The bogan queen is too gutless to threaten to take anything to an election that she will lose.
But, there are members of the ALP who are running out of patience with the destruction of their brand, crossing the floor to bring down the govt is becoming more likely.
Even if the bogan queen holds on til the next election, which will be very expensive for Aust, it may be a price worth paying for the gutting of the ALP for decades and the destruction of the greens as a party. the CO2 tax is that politically toxic.
