Tough!
BENNELONG community groups and constituents have accused Maxine McKew of turning her back on the electorate since the federal election.
You voted for her, now wear it!

Just desserts for them I’d say, followed by:
Hey, meeting of the mob in August?
I might be able to shed some light on Maxine McKew’s reported neglect of her electorate. I’m still a member of ASEAQ (Association of Special Education Administrators – Queensland). Since McKew has been a parliamentary secretary, I’ve been getting weekly press releases about a range of topics to do with education of kids with disabilities sent to ASEAQ from her office. Most of these releases suggest an improvement in resourcing and advocacy. More power to her elbow.
So if she is neglecting her electorate (and in comparison with the attention given Bennelong when Howard was the local member I’d suggest she compares favourably), it’s to the benefit of this particular previously neglected community.
