Australia ‘lucky’ not to have more casualties

According to MAJ GEN Mark Evans Australian troops in Iraq have been lucky

“We have been very lucky and we make our own luck – we are well-trained and we mitigate against risk so we do anything we can to avoid casualties.”

The harder we trained, the more luck we had.
